Is DLVirtual connected to the real Delta Air Lines?+
No. DLVirtual is an independent, non-commercial flight simulation community and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Delta Air Lines, Inc. Hosting, VPS and domain costs are paid privately by the owner and staff. DLVirtual generates no income from pilots, membership fees, advertising or sponsorships.
Do I have to fly on VATSIM?+
No. Online flying on VATSIM is welcome, but DLVirtual also supports offline simulator operations.
Is membership free?+
Yes. Pilots are not charged for membership or access to DLVirtual operations. The project is privately funded by its owner and staff.
Can new virtual pilots join?+
Absolutely. The rank system gives you a clear path to progress, while experienced pilots can immediately explore the wider network and fleet.
How do I get started?+
Use the DLVirtual registration link on vAMSYS. Once accepted, you can book a route, prepare the flight in SimBrief and track it with Pegasus.
